A visually and physically tactile experience, this fancy serving bowl is hand textured using stamps, tools and marks made by yours truly. Light lime to green tones accentuate the front and back design.

Wheel thrown porcelain clay is split twice at the rim and coaxed into a flowing wave. The underside is trimmed with a repeat double split in the foot ring. Porcelain terra sigillata ( a super-fine clay slip) is hand burnished in the white areas to create a satiny finish. A light coat of clear glaze makes the surface fully washable, however the texture can grab liquids- dry food service suggested (breads, fruit, undressed salads, etc), or simply soak before washing.
